| The
main factor in air bag deployment is the deceleration
of the vehicle. A sudden stop into a concrete wall
at over 10-15 mph should deploy the airbags. You
could be going faster, however, if deceleration
wasn't fast enough the air bags may not deploy. Air
bags are designed to supplement the protection offered
by seat belts. You still need to buckle up. |

| When
is my car going to be ready? |
|
| We
give you an estimated completion date when you drop
your car off for repairs. We try to allow an extra
day or two for unforeseen delays. Back ordered parts,
wrong or damaged goods, additional parts and labor
can add days to the completion date. The best remedy
for this type of delay is to take advantage of our
free loaner vehicles. We recommend you ask for one
when you make the appointment. |

| My
insurance company referred me to a different shop
but I prefer to use your shop. What can I do? |
|
| By
law, you may have your car repaired at any facility
you choose. It is your responsibility to be the best
quality repair work. You should compare shops closely.
Some insurance companies claim they will guarantee
the work only if you use one of their preferred shops.
This can be misleading and doesn't always mean you're
getting the best repair. |

| Look
for shops that offer their own written warrantee
and/or use a shop that your know and trust. |
|

| My
insurance company's estimate is less than yours.
Will I have to pay the difference? |
|
| No.
Insurance companies use their own guidelines and
may include after-market or LKQ (like/kind/quality
used) parts. This can have a dramatic effect on the
cost of the repair. We will consider using these
types of parts as long as we can still guarantee
the repairs. Used parts must come from the same year
or newer. After market parts have to be certified
and/or meet our own quality standards. Your insurance
company will work with us to achieve these goals. |

| The only thing
you will be responsible for is your deductible if applicable
and any betterments that apply. Ex: worn tires or struts
that are replace with new. |

| Do
I have to use after-market parts? |
|
| No,
however you may have to pay the difference. Probably
the easiest way to deal with this issue is to let
us worry about it. After market parts have gotten
better. Although most shops, including us, would
rather use OEM (original equipment manufactured)
A/M (after market) does have its' place in the industry,
sometimes bringing OEM prices down to be competitive. |

| Most
of these A/M parts come with their own warranty.
We will consider using A/M parts, but they have to
pass our own quality standards. If they don't we
can resolve the problem with the insurance company.
It won't cost you any more and our strict standards
will insure your car is repaired correctly. |

| Will
my car wear tires? |
|
| No.
Our brand New Hunter alignment machine will ensure
your car is back to factory specifications. If your
car has alignment issues that aren't accident related,
you will be informed with a reasonable estimate
to correct the problems. |

| Ask for a copy
of our completed alignment computer print out for
reassurance and future reference. |

| The
frame is bent. Will it ever be the same? |
|
| This
is probably the most frequently asked question. In
the old days, more often than not, the answer would
have been "No". In the modern age, with high tech
computers and high strength steel, the answer will
still sometimes be "No". |

| Sometimes
frames should not be straightened. Frame replacement
is a very common practice in the collision industry
on both conventional frames and uni-body types, though
there still may be pressure from some insurance companies
to go with the most economical approach. Knowledge
through training and research brings the insurance
companies and collision shops closer together, making
educated decisions for proper and safe repairs with
a lifetime guarantee. |
